Rooms are lovely, shared bathroom though which is also nice, the staff have great customer service.

I got served a piece of rubber that was meant to be a chicken Parm. While it was chicken the parm was missing. Only reason this isn't 0 stars is because the chips were good and you can't give a 0.You will find a better priced piece of rubber at your local hardware store. I suggest going there before ordering chicken here, you will actually get it the same day.
Had dinner at the Balcony Restaurant last Friday night 4/1/19 for my partner's birthday, We were the first in and place our order ,a entree of a grazing plate , Mains, Eye fillet with roasted truss tomatoes, potato gratin and red wine jus plus a side of garden salad, my partner had Cowra Lamb Tenderloin, tender braised lamb with braising juices, smashed pumpkin, steamed greens and pesto plus a side of chat potatoes, sour cream and sweet chilli sauce plus 2 rounds of drinks.The entree came out resonably fast and was good. When the mains came out we checked the menu and realised we got the wrong order and got sent back as my order came out as the 250g scotch fillet(from the grill) served with seasonal salad and chips, the lamb dish came out with the chat potatoes on the plate not as a side with sour cream, pumpkin was cubed not smashed, cauliflower and carrots and corn not steamed greens and no pesto brasing juices seemed like a gravy and cold.When they came back to the table I got the same steak, vegies and plain gravy not the oven roasted eye fillet, potatoes were half baked or fried potatoes with grated cheese put on top NO red wine jus and roasted truss tomatoes. The Lamb dish came back with a huge side of chat potatoes sour cream and sweet chilli sauce.Although the steak and the lamb came out cooked as we ordered them, the meals were my partners was cold and my steak was barely warm and potatoes on both plates were hard, not cooked through.We were asked if we wanted desert but I said we were dissapointed with the meal, the waitress appologised and deducted 2 drinks off the bill (approx $19) and asked if I would like to speak to the manager. I said no as it would not have changed the experience of a special night out.I have been there for 3 meals over the years, the first time fantastic, next time not great, this time worse. They were not packed out as the other tables did not order till we were halfway through ours.We are suppose to be in and around "Australia's Foodbasket" patrons want and deserve good food for their hard earned money the way it is ordered otherwise how can you get returned business.All in all bad experience and will not be back!
Meals were wonderful, real home cooking at its best.
