Great kids hangout spot.
Elephant Park is centrally located, and bookends a reserve that stretches for a few blocks, incl the town pool. Plenty of old shelter trees, well maintained tracks, fun for the pooch in the creek, lots of exercise equipment, BBQ facilities and kids playground. Pleasant to walk at any time of the day.
Great spot, just be aware there may be *many* cicada
Great place for kids to play, safe place for them to ride bikes, seats for parents. Toilets do need an upgrade though.
I liked Elephant Park because there was a variety of things for the children to play out and when we visited in winter the ground was covered with a million leaves. It's not much parking directly opposite the park but the play area is definitely worth the draw
